What we buy
We look at window cleaning rounds of many shapes and sizes. Whether you are retiring, cutting back, moving area or simply ready to move on, there is a good chance your round is one we would like to review. Here is a clear picture of what tends to suit us, and an honest note on when we may not be the right fit.
Sellers we often talk to
Every round comes with its own story. These are some of the most common reasons window cleaners come to us. If yours is not listed, it is still worth asking.
Retiring
You have built a good round over the years and want a tidy, well-handled exit that looks after your customers.
Downsizing
You want to keep working but with a lighter load, so selling part of the round frees up your time.
Selling part of a round
You would like to let go of one area or a block of customers while keeping the rest of your work.
A clean exit
You are a sole trader who wants to step away from the business cleanly, without a drawn-out sale.
Moving area
You are relocating and the round no longer fits where you live, so passing it on makes sense.
Staff or workload pressure
Staffing, workload or an awkward, spread-out route has become a headache, and selling lifts the pressure.
Some business owners also come to us simply to release cash from part of the round while continuing to trade. That is fine too, and the same confidential process applies.
What the round looks like is rarely a problem
Residential, commercial or mixed
Domestic rounds, commercial work and mixed rounds are all of interest. Each has its own merits and we are happy to review any of them.
Water-fed pole or traditional
Whether you run a water-fed pole system, work traditionally with ladders and a squeegee, or use a mix, the method is not a barrier.
Full or partial
We buy whole rounds and parts of rounds. If you only want to sell a defined block or one area, that works perfectly well.
We may not be the right fit if...
We would rather be honest than waste your time. There are a few situations where a round is harder for us to take on:
- No recurring customers. If the work is mostly one-off jobs with nothing regular, there is little to take over.
- Very scattered work. A handful of customers spread thinly across a wide area can be difficult to run efficiently.
- No real customer base. If there is no settled, repeat customer base, there may not be a round to value.
Even then, it is worth asking. Every round is different and we are happy to take a look before either of us decides anything.
Think your round could be a fit?
Tell us the basics and we will let you know, with a confidential valuation and no obligation. You do not need to share a customer list to start.
